After being given the open-ended theme of seaweed, I explored my topic’s metaphorical potential before determining the final form of the project. Through research and the development of a concept systems map, I decided my form would be short, animated videos showing the cyclical changes of seaweed. This guide highlights those cycles, suggesting that it is natural to move from phases of simplicity into stages that feel more dynamic or chaotic.
