The ‘Love’ Sign
This satirical artwork is a sign created with 12 x 12 x .05 plywood using a CNC machine. The work was inspired by online posts that declare ‘you will meet your soulmate in the month of august’. I created the final design in Adobe Illustrator and then exported the design to Autodesk Fusion to create the final model. The next step was to set up the CNC machine and send the project file to the machine to mill my piece. Finally, after successfully milling my material, I sanded the wooden board and then painted the piece using pink spray paint.
